What do I do?

Many things. 

I joke and laugh, a lot.  I try my best to live life honorably, fully, and intentionally with purpose and meaning—regardless of how others behave—while trying to serve, protect, and help people, daily. 

And I begin each day by not fixing people because people are not broken.  

I begin each session by not being an expert in you

I focus on your strengths, core beliefs, expectations, patterns, and story.

I listen deeply and work hard to see you accurately in the context of your life.  Together we identify the functions and reinforcers of behaviors and thoughts and modify both for better results. 

Everything you do and everything you don’t do matters.   You are always moving towards your best self or away.

My job is simply to help you analyze your thoughts and behaviors, so you can get out of your own way, define who you want to be, and Live Life Better. 

I will treat your distress and unhealthy habits with effective therapy that works—that part is easy—but more interestingly, but optional, I will also help you develop more resiliency and live powerfully with greater purpose and meaning according to your own values—that part is fun and will have long lasting positive benefits.
